The key length used will be the minimum of the client and server values Keylifetime keylifetime input 5 If the value of this parameter is non-zero it causes the client to request the re-use of a previously established shared secret key for deriving session keys for subsequent connections. This means that on the first connection between a Zebedee client and server the full key exchange dialogue will take place to establish a shared secret key. On subsequent connections, until the key expires, the same secret key will be reused to generate a new session key. Once the key expires a new key exchange will automatically be performed when necessary.
